If you long for quiet beaches and hammocks swaying in the breeze, make a sharp U-turn before arriving in Pattaya. Pattaya is a town on Thailand’s eastern Gulf coast known for a wild nightlife scene that attracts international visitors, weekenders from Bangkok and expats. A quiet fishing village as recently as the 1960s, it’s now lined with resort hotels, high-rise condos and a grand seaside mall. Jet-skiing and parasailing are popular activities at Pattaya’s busy beaches . . . Oh and I won’t forget to mention about the sweetness temptations here in Pattaya. 🙂
Jomtien Beach is a sandy beach located about 2 km from South Pattaya and 4 km from Pattaya City. It has been a spot for those who enjoy tranquility and would like to escape from the hustle and bustle of the entertainment area. Two weeks ago I was in Jomyien Beach, Pattaya, Thailand for a second visit. It has been a long while since I came back to Thailand. Twenty five years ago, I had an opportunity to visit this wonderful land of fun and sun, I love it then and I still love it now.
The one special thing that reminded me so much of the lovelies about Thailand is spotting these ice creamery cart along the Central Festival area of the city stretch. I totally adore these little ice cream characters, they are just so cute to look at. They cost about 80 Baht which equal to about $2.30 each. I fell in love with these cute designs. Who would of thought! I told myself, one day if I ever own an ice creamery shoppe, I would definitely include these great ideas into my venture. 🙂
Ahhh, fresh naturally sweetened Coconut juice all day long is how I spent my days in Pattaya! 🙂
So I just wanted to share some photos of my Ice Cream obsession & the beautiful dining experience in Pattaya, and I hope you’ll visit and like it too! 🙂
