These are a 'must have' for any woodwork enthusiast.

They are designed for assembling picture frames, drawers, chair frames or other articles of various sizes and configurations prior to glueing or fixing.

Tension is maintained by means of a handle which tightens the 4 metre long woven canvas strap linked to the tensioning unit.

The corner braces can be removed if you want to use these on irregular shaped objects.

trying to use this was beyond frustrating, and I''ve used almost identical products before without the problem faced here. the strap is supposed to slide thru two slots in the handle in order to increase or lessen the amount of strap that is released to clamp whatever you''re clamping. small orange levers on each size have a cam like action so that in the up position, the strap should slide thru easily. that is the problem; the cam mechanism doesn''t not work. with enough fussing you can get the strap to slide, but it''s agonizing difficult to do it. I fixed the problem by using a dremel to grind part of the cam down to allow the strap to slide, but to have to do that with a new product is ridiculous. I know i was using the clamp correctly because an almost identical looking clamp from another company with the same mechanism had no such problem. do not buy.

I am very disappointed with this product. It is cheaply constructed, the handle portion is all plastic and will break before you can put any pressure on holding the joints together. Quick release levers my butt! The strapping sticks and the release lever is useless as the strapping is never fully secure, nor will it fully release to allow loosening.

not that great. it basically holds the material in place. it is not a very good clamp to really tighten your project snug. the strap clamp mechanism just wouldn''t hold it that well. it seemed like the belt would stretch or slip some and loosen after a while. I ended up using this to square everything up and then use regular clamps to hold my piece long term.

This clamp broke on the very first use. Very poorly made. Unfortunately there is not a zero star rating in the options, hence the one star. .
